This model is intended for a video game as a base character, allowing players to equip various armors over it.
Taking inspiration from Skyrim, where characters can be seen only in their underwear, I decided to give this character socks to avoid modeling toes, which would increase the polygon count unnecessarily or require low-quality textured toes. Additionally, the socks contribute to the game’s aesthetic and add a touch of humor.

Joint-based rig designed for game engines, optimized for a game like Skyrim where numerous characters share animations. I chose a joints-only approach to ensure performance and efficiency, as adding blendshapes for every NPC and enemy would be resource-intensive and not ideal for optimization in large-scale games.
