Notorious Topo Avatar
I created this character to use as my avatar on my social media platforms and other outlets. It’s inspired by the ‘Pogo’ mask from GTA V. I used UDIMs and divided the materials by body parts, focusing on modularity to allow future variations of my character with different clothing, teeth, hair, socks, etc. By separating it into multiple parts, I can ensure the highest quality in all future renders.
A rig based on joints and corrective blendshapes, this character is designed for use in renders and traditional animation (non-MoCap). As an avatar that requires the highest visual quality, I opted for a joint-based facial rig supported by blendshapes to enhance the appearance of the mouth.
The result is an expressive and eye-catching character with a wide range of facial expressions and a flexible rig. Additionally, it allows for the creation of more specific blendshapes in the future if needed.
